Imagination & Gratitude
My love and passion for nature go back to my childhood when my family and I spent most of our summer holidays in mountainous rainforest towns near lakes, rivers, and the sea. The smell of the fireplace and firepit that we used to play around and cook camp food with is still vivid in my mind.
In 2012, when I first visited Montville and Maleny townships, I felt like I had finally found my home.
Being a city boy my whole life, I never thought I’d leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind. But the universe had a different plan for me, and it was about to unfold in the most dramatic way.
In late 2021, I decided to follow my passion & set out on a mission to own a piece of land that would fulfill my wildest dreams. I wrote down everything I wanted, no matter how unrealistic it seemed & I was after a miracle. I yearned for an incredibly special and unique place to call mine.
And then, the miracle happened; I saw this gem, and it was simply perfect. The sun rose and set over this peaceful land, and clouds would dance around the grass paddock and come into the house. The grand 55-acre property overlooked Glass House Mountains, the ocean, lakes, and rainforests and it looked absolutely stunning in any weather. I fell head over heels in love with it and knew it was a sign from the heavens.
For centuries, this place had been the best-kept secret, until I realized that every single person who laid eyes on it was stunned and couldn’t get enough of it. I made a decision then and there to share this beautiful gem with as many guests as possible and make it truly shine as a place to create unforgettable memories and happiness.
I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you for your support in continuing to improve and make the estate available to everyone. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you, and I can’t wait to host you at Petrichor Estate, where magic and wonder abound.
